Are they that stupid or do they want to push customers away?! They always do these things, never seem to listen or even ask, like with Windows 8!

A profile contains configuration information for email accounts, data files, and information about where your email items are saved.

Unlike other commands and settings for Microsoft Outlookprofiles are edited in Control Panel in Windows, not within Outlook. You can change the accounts that are contained, their settings, and data storage options for each profile. Where is Mail in Control Panel? Mail appears in different Control Panel locations depending on the chane of the Microsoft Windows operating system, Control Panel view selected, and whether micdosoft or bit operating system or version of Outlook is installed.

Outlook screens show successfully changed.. Shows not connected. If I go back to the Outlook account settings, they are changed back to the incorrect settigs.

And soon as I try the account As if my changes were never made. Finally found the others have the issue. I’ve also done all the things the OP did. Verizon just keeps saying to check the IMAP settings. If you have multiple accounts in Outlook, when you compose a new email message, Outlook picks the default account as the From account.

However, if you want to Reply , Reply All , or Forward a message, Outlook will send your message with the same account the original mail was sent to.

For example, Cheryl has two accounts. Her default account is cheryl. Her second account is cheryl contoso. If Cheryl receives an email message from Chester at her cheryl contoso.

If she creates a new message to Chester that’s not a reply or a forward, the message will be sent using her cheryl. To view the From button, you’ll need to add another email account. If you have multiple email accounts, you can add the From button manually.
